Pool 1 of the Classic Future Wager offered an opportunity to select the winner ahead of the October 31, 2026 Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic at Keeneland Race Course.
Pool 1 opened Friday, August 28, at 12 p.m. ET and closed Sunday, August 30, at 6 p.m. ET. This was the first of two Classic Future Wager pools. The minimum wager was $2, and Win was the only available bet type. Pool 1 is now closed.
How the Future Wager Works
Players could select one of the 23 individually listed horses or choose All Others, which covers Classic starters that were not individually listed in Pool 1.
Odds could change as wagers were placed. Your potential payout is based on the final odds for Pool 1, determined when the pool closed, rather than the odds displayed when you submitted your wager. A winning wager is settled after the official Classic results. Pool 1 payouts are separate from Pool 2 and race-day payouts.

Important Information About Refunds
Future wagers are not refunded if your selected horse is scratched, withdrawn, injured, or does not start in the Classic. Inclusion in the future pool does not guarantee a horse will compete.
Can I Still Place a Pool 1 Wager?
