How to fix common connection issues
"Please re-verify your bank account or use a different funding method"
This means your bank connection needs to be refreshed. It often happens after you change your bank password, turn on a new security setting such as Face ID, or when your bank's authorization expires.
- Select Login to Bank on the message.
- Sign in to your bank through Plaid to reconnect your account.
- Try your deposit again.
"Please try a different bank or select another funding method" or your bank isn't listed
This means Plaid wasn't able to connect to your bank. Your bank may not currently support Plaid.
- Try connecting a different checking, savings, or money market account.
- Or choose another deposit method. See the Deposit Options FAQ.
You can't sign in to your bank through Plaid
- Make sure you can sign in to your bank's website or app directly using the same username and password.
- Complete any verification code or security prompt your bank sends.
- Then try connecting again.
You can't add or switch to a different bank account
- You can't add or switch bank accounts while an ACH transaction on your current account is still pending. Wait until it fully clears.
- Your first deposit from a new bank account may be limited to $100.
